If 2020 taught us anything, it’s that unexpected situation arises. The world as we know it will continue to change. At Thirsty Painter, we focus on supporting people's wellbeing creatively, yet we also recognise the importance of taking the steps especially now to support our physical, financial and nutritional wellness. Wellbeing and wellness both go hand in hand.
For International Women’s Day 2021, we want to celebrate women committed to supporting and improving people’s wellness whether that be financially, nutritionally or physically. Wellness can be applied in many ways and simply put, ‘It is the pursuit of continued growth and balance in a number of dimensions of wellness.’
We have been working on improving our own wellness during the lockdown, recently we completed a running challenge and we're open to doing more activities that will support our wellness. Here are just a few of the women movers and shakers in the wellness space who are fully committed to supporting peoples wellness during these times whilst overcoming life’s challenges.
Let's start with physical wellness, which is focused on building your physical strength and flexibility. Whilst gyms remain closed, we've found that yoga is not only beneficial for flexibility but it can also benefit your balance, strength and stamina. For example, standing poses to increase strength in the legs, whilst the downward facing dog is an effective way to make your arm stronger. We love Mind walk yoga mission, which is to provide accessible inclusive affordable yoga for your physical wellness. Win-win we think.
The importance of planning and saving in 2021 is certainly something that has been reinforced due to the pandemic. There has been such a focus on financial wellness than ever before. Put simply financial wellness is the ability to have a healthy financial life.
One person, helping people to shift their mindset to be financially free and in control of their money is Forbes featured Myers, Founder of MoneyHeave . She finds nothing more fulfilling than helping people elevate their wealth and achieve their life goals.
Our cupboards have certainly seen a presence in vitamins. The interest in nutrition wellness in relation to immunity has certainly increased due to these unprecedented times. Covid-19 is certainly a reminder that health is transient and can change at any moment. Nutrition wellness focuses on improving health by incorporating a balanced diet into our lives. What we eat doesn’t just affect our physical health but also our mental health and wellbeing.
There has been a huge rise in people seeking products that can better support a healthy immune system. However, with so much to choose from, this can lead to confusion and misconception on what to buy and what products contain natural produces. Mother and daughter run company Entirely Pure London have formed strong relationships with trustworthy suppliers to provide the best natural products. Saving you the time to figure out what is what. Win-Win we think!
There are so many inspirational women out there supporting everyone. We will continue to shine a spotlight on these inspirational women.
We want to thank everyone for supporting us in our creative journey. Picture's like these remind us why we do what we do, even whilst we are going through our own challenges.
